	Overview
	Module Objective: To advance the students facility with the mathematical computing package Maple and to give them an introduction to the basics of programming. The programming concepts of iteration, conditionals, and procedures will be covered, as will Boolean expressions and Boolean conditions. We will look at the Linear Algebra package and use it for relevant examples.

	Learning Outcomes
	On successful completion of the module, students should be able to: Use the basic Maple operations if/then; for; while. Use the Linear Algebra package in Maple to solve simple problems. Construct simple programs using Maple.
