Summer Programme for Undergraduate Research (SPUR) 2024
The School of Business is delighted to fund four exciting research projects over the summer of 2024. This is the opportunity for undergraduate students (they cannot be in their final year but can be in any other year or programme) to apply to get exposure to research within the School of Business with experienced researchers as their mentors. The deadline is the 12th March!

BA Early Childhood Teaching & Learning | Nurturing Skills Learner Fund
The Froebel Department of Primary and Early Childhood Education at Maynooth University offers both full-time and flexible Level 8 BA degrees in Early Childhood Teaching & Learning (Honours). On 8th December, 2023 the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, Roderic O’Gorman, announced a pilot of a new Nurturing Skills Learner Fund.

Refugees and asylum seekers complete Changemakers course in MU
27 students from 10 International Protection Accommodation Services centres across the Midlands, East and North Dublin have completed the Changemakers Mentoring Programme in Maynooth University. The Changemakers empowers students to reach for higher education goals and reinforces Maynooth University’s commitment to the University of Sanctuary and widening participation.

BMus student Orla Dunphy - double Entrance Scholar recipient 2023
Former Scoil Mhuire Community School Clane student Orla Dunphy’s significant performance in the Leaving Certificate 2023 has been acknowledged and celebrated by Maynooth University. A first year student in the BMus Bachelor of Music degree, Orla is one of over seventy 2023 Maynooth University Entrance Scholars, each having achieved 575 points or more in their Leaving Certificate examination. Orla was also awarded the Music Entrance Scholarship 2023.
