A Visit to Dublin Castle & the Chester Beatty Library
Dublin Castle is situated in the heart of Dublin City Centre. The Chester Beatty library, an art museum and library which houses the great collection of manuscripts, miniature paintings, prints, drawings, rare books and some decorative arts assembled by Sir Alfred Chester Beatty (1875-1968) is located in the gardens of the castle.
The National Gallery
The National Gallery of Ireland contains the national collection of Irish art and European master paintings
Guinness Storehouse Tour
The Guinness Storehouse tour is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Dublin City and is highly recommended.
Tour of the Jameson Whisky Distillery
Another recommended tour is the Jameson Whisky Distillery Tour and a trip to the Viewing Tower.
Shopping
The two main shopping streets in Dublin are Grafton Street (containing the flagship Brown Thomas store) and Henry Street (the Arnotts store).
