16th Annual MOPAN Conference

Annual Conference on Multi-Organisational Partnerships, Alliances and Networks (MOPAN)

 

The conference theme is Collaboration, Competitiveness and Cohesion.

The concepts of Competitiveness and Collaboration have featured prominently in previous MOPAN conferences. The term Cohesion has become popular in Europe as a counterbalance to the economic focus inherent in the concept of Competitiveness. Thus, Cohesion incorporates the wider and longer term objectives of sustainability and balance by embracing the social, environmental and territorial dimensions of development.

Visa information for non-EU participants

Citizens of certain non-EU countries need a visa to travel to Ireland. Please consult the relevant web pages of the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs to see if you need a visa. If you do, contact your local Irish embassy to apply for a conference visa in good time before the conference. The organisers can help with letters of invitation and other documentation you might need.

If you are a non-EU national residing in a Schengen country, you should know that Ireland is NOT part of Schengen agreement - this means that your Schengen visa/residence permit DOES NOT automatically allow you to enter Ireland and you need to apply for an Irish visa in the same way as if you arrived here directly from your country of origin.
