The Department of Geography and the National Institute of Regional and Spatial Analysis at NUI Maynooth is delighted to invite you to attend the Conference of Irish Geographers, 2004.
The conference will showcase the diversity of Irish geography and we especially welcome attendance/papers by geographers working outside of Ireland.
As per usual, we ask that delegates who wish to organise specific sessions take on the task of coordinating and submitting papers and abstracts. We will coordinate other submitted papers into coherent sessions.
The guest speaker will be Professor Ray Hudson from the Wolfson Research Institute at the University of Durham. His keynote speech is entitled, ‘Addressing Regional Problems‘.
The conference will be hosted in the new state of the art, John Hume Building, on the North Campus.
In a slight change to previous years, the conference will start at Friday lunch time and end mid-Sunday afternoon.
The final day for submission of sessions/papers is Friday April 2nd and receipt of payment, April 30th.
