Launch of new booklet promoting the Russell Library print collections and the Russell Library Cataloguing Project
On 15 December 2005, President, Professor John Hughes launched a new booklet promoting the Russell Library print collections and the Russell Library Cataloguing Project.
The online cataloguing project was begun in 2002 to replace the card catalogue. At present, researchers are able to search almost 20 per cent of the collections, by author, title-word or by any word.
The collections include books from 1468 onwards, and consist of works by leading scholars across Europe in every field of interest.
