Calling all Film Buffs: 'Maynooth Film for All' established in NUIM
Maynooth Film for All, film club has recently been established in Maynooth College. Members will have the opportunity to view a selection of eight of the finest international films of the last two years in all their glory on a big screen. The season kicks off on the 11th October with the screening of Perfume followed by Volver starring Penelope Cruz on the 15th November.

NUI Maynooth to hold special maths exam that offers students a second chance at engineering
The Engineering Department at NUI Maynooth will be holding a special Mathematics examination for students who wish to undertake a degree in Engineering but who did not attain the required grade in this year’s Leaving Certificate Higher Mathematics exam.

Professor John Hughes, President of NUI Maynooth, formally opened a new Centre of Excellence into the study of biological membranes.
