The second part of the Museum is a collection of ecclesiastical artefacts from the past three centuries. It has been enriched by the benefactions of former Maynooth students and friends. Noteworthy amongst the many benefactors we find the name of Very Rev. John O'Ryan P.P. who bequeathed his very fine ecclesiastical collection to the College Museum. The collection comprises a wide variety of items from chalices to rosaries, from croziers to altar stones, from very plain to highly decorative items. Due to the size of the collection, not all items are on display, but are regualarly rotated.
