Getting to Maynooth from the airport:
Dublin airport has no rail link, so the best public transport option is to get a bus* from the front of the terminal, or taxi to the city centre and continue on the bus or train to Maynooth from there.

A taxi from the airport to Maynooth can be expensive, so your best bet is to ring one of the local cab companies in Maynooth and arrange for them to collect you. This will be cheaper.

Car
- At Airport Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the M1 (signposted M1 Dublin).
- At next roundabout take the 2nd exit, then join the M1 motorway (signposted Dublin).
- Leave the M1 at junction 3, then at roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the M50 (signposted M50 Southbound).
- Take the M50 southbound until you reach the Westlink Toll Bridge.
- Take the exit directly after the Toll Plaza (junction 7, signposted Dublin, Sligo N4) and take the 3rd exit off the roundabout onto the N4 (signposted The West)
- Continue along the N4 onto the M4 and take the exit signposted Straffan, Naas, Maynooth).
- At the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Straffan Road - R406 (signposted Maynooth)
- Continue forward onto Straffan Road - R406. Enter Maynooth
- At the traffic lights in the square turn left onto the R148.
- South campus: Go straight ahead at the traffic lights at the Roost. The University gates are straight ahead.
- North campus: Turn right at the traffic lights at the Roost. Follow the main road as it turns left out of the town. The North campus is clearly signposted a few hundred metres along this road on your right
