The Language Centre provides a wide range of services to NUIM students. We maintain a fully-resourced self-study room (PCs, VCR, language packs and periodicals) with a language advisor and technician on hand to offer advice. We also host online learning materials in French, Irish, Spanish and Portuguese.

In our labs and teaching rooms students prepare for the language components of their exams. We also offer evening classes in a wide range of languages to members of the public.

Certain services are only available on campus but multimedia courseware such as Vifax and Teastas Eorpach na Gaeilge (TEG) can be accessed from all over the world, as can Infolingua, a research tool for applied linguists.
