A new study by Dr Constantine Evans of Maynooth University and researchers at the University of Chicago and California Institute of Technology, published in Nature, shows how the molecules that build structures can do both the thinking and the doing.

Sport Ireland Research Funding Scheme Award for Dr Liam Sweeney
Dr Liam Sweeney, alongside Dr Áine MacNamara from Dublin City University and Niall O’Regan from the Football Association of Ireland, have been awarded funding under the Sport Ireland Research Funding Scheme Allocation to pursue a research project titled, ‘What role does biological maturation play in the development experiences of female players on the FAI’s national and international pathway?’. The grant will see a total funding award of €13,514 for several research projects spanning between 2024-2025
