Module Objective:
To introduce the students to the design and analysis of experiments.
Topics: One way and two way ANOVA models, experimental design, completely randomized design, block designs, factorial designs, fractional factorial designs, ANOVA tables, multiple treatment comparisons, assessing model assumptions, sample size calculations, statistical process control.
Lectures and tutorials as for ST202.
Registered Research student. Permission is required from the Head of the Mathematics & Statistics Department.
