To introduce students to the powerful statistical computing environment R.

R is a very powerful, freely available statistical computing environment widely used for statistical software development and data analysis. This course gives an introduction to the R environment covering the following topics: Basics of R. Statistical graphics. Programming with R. Simulation. Computational linear algebra.
