Module Objective: To introduce key concepts in cognitive and social psychology.
Module Content: The cognitive approach. Perception and memory. Thinking, reasoning and problem solving. The origins of social psychology. Self and social identity. Crowd behaviour and aggression. Social cognition and attribution. Obedience and conformity. Stereotyping and prejudice. Attitude and attitude change. Interpersonal attraction.
