Module Overview: to introduce students to point-set topology.

Topological spaces. Continuity of functions between topological spaces. Limit points, closure, interior and boundary of subsets. The subspace, product and quotient topologies. Separation axioms. Compactness. Connectedness and path-connectedness. An informal introduction to homotopy.
