	Module Objective: Together with MT001, the aim is to introduce students to the study of mathematics at third level. Recommended Texts: Mathematics for Engineers by Anthony Croft and Robert Davison, Third Edition. Module Content: Probability, statistics, sequences, series, co-ordinate geometry of the circle, differentiation and curve sketching.
