My classes encourage students to understand their critical role in the world and nurture their understanding and solidarity with others. ... I often address serious problems that we face as a humanity …, but my pedagogy is imbued with hope that we can generate differentiated and long-distance solidarities for an increasingly inter-dependent world.”
