The Department of Ancient Classics and Careers Service at Maynooth University are delighted to announce the Careers with Classics Day, an exciting opportunity to meet Classics graduates who will share their experience and career path into the professional world.
For the third year, a panel of international speakers will share their professional journey after graduating in Classics with an audience of current and prospective students of Maynooth University, as well as any Irish third-level institution, pupils of secondary schools, and guidance counsellors that may be interested.
Some of the questions that we hope to address are:
- What skills does a degree in Classics provide?
- Which fields of employment require these skills?
- Where do Classics graduate go to work?
Join us on September 21st, 2023, between 11am and 1pm, on campus in Arts building- Class hall F or online, and meet our speakers!
The event is free and open to current Classics undergraduate and postgraduate students at any Irish university and to secondary school pupils. If you are planning on attending in person, or as part of a group, please let us know!
