Angela Rickard lectures in Educational technology on the Professional Diploma in Education and on the BScEd programme. She is the Programme Director in the Republic of Ireland of Dissolving Boundaries - a programme funded by the Department of Education and Science involving nearly 200 primary, post-primary and special schools in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. Dissolving Boundaries uses online and video-conferencing technology to facilitate cross-cultural educational links between schools in the North and South of Ireland and has been in existence since 1999: www.dissolvingboundaries.org
