Law is a challenging and highly respected field. In this course students will explore the legal relationships that pervade our society, affecting individuals, families, corporations and the State. They will acquire a thorough grounding in the fundamental areas of legal study, including Irish domestic law, the Irish legal system and European law. The extended program will allow them to take subjects of international relevance to the global economy.
The study of law develops skills in areas including the following: critical thinking and analysis, reasoning and authoritative argumentation, oral and written presentation, application of legal rules to solve problems, and research. These skills are highly valued by employers.
A Unique Partnership - NUI Maynooth , Froebel & IPPA The National University of Ireland, Maynooth, Froebel College of Education
and Irish Preschool Play Association (IPPA) have developed a unique partnership, bringing together combined strengths and expertise in the areas of research, teaching and practice. NUI Maynooth has a long history in providing excellence in education and research, particularly in second-level and adult education. The Froebel College of Education is an established primary teacher education college with a long
standing reputation for promoting the importance of early childhood education.
In addition, the IPPA has been training and working with practitioners in the early childhood care and education sector for over two decades and is therefore ideally partnered with NUI Maynooth and Froebel College to contribute to this new and innovative BA in Early Childhood -Teaching and Learning.
